When an employee leaves the geofence, they will also be reminded to clock out. The app will also record the time they entered the geofence, so they have an accurate start time as opposed to an estimated start time. Once geofencing is installed from the company’s TSheets account, your employee will be reminded to clock in as soon as they cross the geofence around the job site. To allow your team to clock in from the client's site and not from their home, I'd suggest advising your team to turn on the Geofencing.
